PRO BONO
One of the greatest moments I’ve experienced in life can be summed up into that warm, tingling feeling you get when you create an impact in someone’s life. Having been fortunate enough to be on both the giving and receiving end, you learn so much more about yourself and begin to wonder how you can make this “feel good moment” last. Luckily, it’s free to give your time, volunteer and do a little pro bono work. It’s likely you’ll immerse yourself in a new experience, forge new relationships, make a difference in the community, create some amazing memories and extend that “feel good moment.” I’ve volunteered with a number of the leading non-profits in the San Francisco Bay Area including the American Marketing Association, Taproot Foundation, ‘Shield Speaks’ Toastmasters and many others. While volunteering, I’ve found that there’s always room for more. I’m looking for my next opportunity. Do you have any recommendations? If so, I’d like to know.
